A significant step forward for intelligent and autonomous mobility at IIT Madras!

𝗠𝗜𝗻𝗧, 𝗜𝗜𝗧 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘀 × 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘆𝗮 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 have signed an MoU to explore and deploy self-driving vehicles on the IIT Madras campus.
This collaboration brings together research, technology and real-world deployment to work towards:

🔹𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 — enabling on-demand autonomous transportation and learning from real deployment.

🔹𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 — applying advances in AI to autonomous driving and building solutions suited to Indian conditions.

🔹𝗔𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻-𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 — developing affordable, locally relevant autonomy solutions designed for India’s unique environment.

Virya Autonomous Technologies brings valuable experience in deploying autonomous mobility in India, including India’s first autonomous buggy at Bengaluru Airport.
