The MInTathon for Students & Industry Professionals, organized by MInT – Mobility and Intelligent Transportation at IIT Madras, is bringing together promising innovators from across the country to build solutions aligned with the theme:

“AI for Safe & Sustainable Mobility.”

The program witnessed an enthusiastic response with 270+ proposals submitted from across India. After multiple rounds of rigorous jury evaluations, including technical and impact-based assessments, 9 teams have been selected and supported with grants to develop working prototypes of their solutions.

During this two-day in-person innovation sprint, the selected teams will:

🔹 Present their working demonstrable prototype solutions
🔹 Interact with mentors, jury members, and mobility experts
🔹 Engage with industry partners and researchers
🔹 Experience the vibrant innovation ecosystem of IIT Madras

To support the transition from ideas to real-world solutions, MInT is providing prototype development support of up to X lakhs per team, enabling them to build and demonstrate tangible technologies addressing challenges in safe and sustainable mobility.

Participants will spend two days on campus collaborating intensively while presenting their solutions to an expert panel comprising representatives from IIT Madras, Bosch, and industry collaborators.

Selected solutions from the prototype showcase will be considered for further real-world implementation opportunities.

This initiative reflects the growing importance of collaboration between academia, industry, and innovators in shaping the future of mobility systems.
